Just wondering what people do when they're pissed off. How do you calm down? Do you take it out on something specific? Do you yell? Do you tear up paper and other things you don't need? Do you seeth?

take few deep breaths, and later on put that energy and anger into music or some other type of activity. i play guitar so thats how i get rid of anger thats piling inside of me. you got to let it out somehow, if you keep it in and just adding more you may one day go berzerk Smiley

For me, it depends on what pissed me off and how bad. Sometimes (read 'rarely') breathing works. I force the feeling of anger and whatever else down through my body and out of the soles of my feet. But most of the time I'm much too angry for that. I usually hit things that won't break or that aren't important if they do break. I seeth, I tense.

It goes away eventually.

Sometimes music helps, though. Listening and singing with it. I can't play guitar though. Wish I could.

i do one or two of many things depending on the situation -

-draw or paint something random
-get it out of system with some thai-chi
-get the bamboo or metal out and brush up on sword skills
-get stuck into a very big book... this makes distraction
-and stuff like that

I wish I could draw, too. And that I had the room to train >-> id have never gotten out of shape if I did.

I do a lot of sport. So usually whenever I'm angry soon after I have some form of physical activity. That calms me down a lot. Breathing has helped me, because if you really focus it distracts you. I... eat chocolate, and basically try and forget that I was angry! XD

Oftentimes, I do nothing when I'm angry lol. I just let it pass. Sometimes, I post/share something about it on Facebook, Twitter, or other social sites, especially on Facebook 'cause you can get opinions there. Smiley

well for me i either listen to music or just play guitar to calm down but sometimes i get pissed off at my guitar if i keep stuffing up lolz. Grin

Scenario: something happened that pissed you off to the point of a violent rage (however close to that point you get. ) And it burns in your mind for days.

When I'm pissed of it's serious I go berserk and can't control myself. To relax I break down doors made of glass and punch the wall ,but I found a new way to relax: Walking fast
