Playing With Energy-This is the fifth step in pursuing magic.
Energy that is used in magic is not somewhere out in space, it is right here on Earth. This energy is physical.
Rub your palms together for a while and then separate them. Put your hands in a position in which you look like you are holding a ball. Move them closer together, and farther apart. You should feel an orb, tingle, warmth, etc. This is energy. After a bit of practice with that, go on to form it into shapes using your visualization. You can do that by visualizing jolts of energy shooting out of your hands and forming into that shape. Play around and have fun with it. Every time after you're done, push it back into your body.
After you have perfected that skill, go on to sense energy fields. Go next to any plant. Breathe for a few moments. Then hold out your hand above or close to the plant. Send all your consciousness to your hand. You should feel warmth, hum, throbbing, etc. You could also rub your palms before beginning to become more sensitive to the energy, but you will be able to raise energy by yourself. After mastering plants, go on to feel energies from rocks and crystals, such as a quartz crystal. Do the same thing you did with plants.
The next step is to stand and visualize energy moving towards your arm. Really visualize it streaming out of your fingers. You can use that skill while doing spells.
